Capturing Memories: Mt. Burdell Senior Portrait Session

Senior year- a time of transition and celebration. I photographed Emily’s senior session at a family favorite- Mt. Burdell.

We met before the session to discuss her vision, ideas for the location and what to wear. We brainstormed locations in Novato and ultimately came up with the golden hills of Mt. Burdell. There is a hike Emily’s family loves to do with their dog on the trails. It was also a place they loved to explore when she was younger.

Her family came with her the day of the session. I took pictures of her with the backdrop of the hills, walking her dog, photos with her sister and family. Prints and cards were ordered after the session. The prints were displayed at her graduation party and were a keepsake to bring with her to college.
