Get all members of your family to buy into the photo session. Tell your family you get to spend some quality time together and have fun playing games and being silly. Before the photoshoot, brainstorm and try out some poses. And dads- this includes you! Your children are only at this age for a moment and it's important to capture your family as they are. With you as a cheerful participant, we will get some amazing photos!

Well rested and well fed

Plans to go to dinner after the photos? Make sure your family has something to eat before the photo session. Kiddos (and adults) are happiest and most cooperative with a full belly. Bring snacks such as jelly beans, cheese cubes, goldfish to feed and bribe along the way.

Leave plenty of time to get ready and to get to your location

Have your clothes clean and ready to go the night before. Stumped on what to wear? I can help you with styling! I want you to feel beautiful and confident. I encourage moms to get their hair and makeup professionally done. Allow plenty of time to get to your session.There is nothing worse than being in a hurry.

Have fun with your family and bring an activity

The best photos are often the ones of you interacting with one another. I will play games and make silly jokes to bring out the natural smiles. Have fun. Laugh. Giggle. Joke. Embrace. Kiss. Snuggle…enjoy each other’s company! Feel free to bring an activity your family enjoys together. Love to read together, bring some books. Other ideas are board games, a ball, bubbles…the possibilities are endless!
